Part 1: How to manage your iPod/iPhone

Step 1: Run this software and select “iPhone Ringtone Converter”.
Step 2: Input source files
The source files can be any video and audio files, such as MP4, H.264/AVC, AVI, MPEG, WMV, MP3, WMA, WAV, etc.
Step 3: Pre-listen music and choose the clip
You can drag the slide bar to get music clip to convert, or type the start & end time in the corresponding text box directly.
Step 4: Set output destination
You can choose the output folder by clicking "Browse" button on the right side of the "Local Output File" label.
Step 5: Start the conversion
After all the settings are finished, click "Generate" button to start creating your own iPhone ringtone. During the creation, you can check the process by the progress bar at the bottom.

Setup Gmail Account in iPhone

First step is to Backup your iPhone so that you dont loose anything.

Open the Settings application on your device's home screen.
2. Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account....
4. Select Microsoft Exchange.

  

Enter Account Info

5. In the Email field, enter your full Google Account email address. If you use an @googlemail.com address, you may see an "Unable to verify certificate" warning

when you proceed to the next step.
6. Leave the Domain field blank.
7. Enter your full Google Account email address as the Username.
8. Enter your Google Account password as the Password.
9. Tap Next at the top of your screen.
9a. Choose Accept if the Unable to Verify Certificate dialog appears.
10. A new Server field will appear. Enter m.google.com.
11. Press Next at the top of your screen again.

 

12. Select the Google services you want to sync.

13. Unless you want to delete all the existing Contacts and Calendars on your 

phone, select the Keep on my iPhone option when prompted. This will also 

allow you to keep syncing with your computer via iTunes.

If you want to sync only the My Contacts group, you must choose to 

Delete Existing Contacts during the Google Sync install when prompted.

If you choose to keep existing contacts, it will sync the contents of the 

"All Contacts" group instead.

1. Connect your iPhone through internet.

How to create Custom Firmware using Pwnage tool v3.1.3
 

1. Download the original firmware 3.1 for 3GS. iPhone2,1_3.1_7C144_Restore.ipsw

2. Install Pwnage tool v3.1.4 in Mac after downloading it from here.

3. RunPwnage tool and select the 3GS icon after checking the Expert Mode on the TOP.

4. After that select the firmware v3.1 for 3GS.

5. Go to General settings, check Activate the iPhone and change the Root Partition to 700mb.

6. Click on the Arrow pointing towards right and check Neuter Bootloader, unlock baseband, Auto delete BootNeuter.app

7. Click the Blue arrow button and select the Cydia and Icy packages under custom packages.

8. And now in the next step you need to select custom logos i.e. Boot logo and Recovery logo.

9. Click on blue button and select Build and then select the Bootloader file 4.6 and 3.9 after downloading it from - BL 3.9 - BL 4.6 .After that Custom Fimware will build up, save the custom firmware to some location. Save it to desktop.

10. After that RESTORE this custom firmware through Itunes as mentioned above.
