Steps to Jailbreak iPhone 3G firmware 3.1.2 using BlackSn0w.
Download the application BlackRa1n from here. it will be a zip file.
Now install it and run the application BlackRa1n.
iPod and iPhone should be connected and after that click on the link "make it ra1n" on application BlackRa1n.
Now your iPhone will turn to Recovery mode
You will be able to see the picture Geohot !
And then your device will Reboot. Now you will get the message to donate to Geohot at geohot@gmail.com
You will be able to see the BalckRa1n icon on the device desktop.
Now when you will click on that icon you will get options to install cydia and Icy Apps on device. Install it.
After confirming that the installed Cydia and Icy Apps are working installed the BlackSn0w which is the last option in the list and after that please Reboot the iPhone 3G.
You are all Done.
